Why buyers specify these four points

Most disputes on flat steel trace back to one of these, not to the mill price.

Mill test certificate

Chemical composition and mechanical properties are stated per heat number and travel with the shipping documents.

Thickness and tolerance

Measured against the tolerance required by the governing standard, not only against the nominal figure.

Coating weight

Recorded per square metre with the measurement basis stated, so the reading matches what your specification means.

Loading evidence

Loading photographs, container number and shipping marks give you a verifiable record of what left the plant.
